Snow in April

April 10, 2006

South East England woke up to snow this morning. Unusual? Yes. Global warming? Doesn’t sound very warm, does it.

Well, I was born in mid-April, 1975 and it was snowing then. The good news being that the summer which followed was one of the hottest on record.

I’m hoping for a repeat performance. Please. 😀

    It would be nice.

Not that I’m as old as you, of course, but I’ve heard that the summer of ’75 was a scorcher. Of course, I wasn’t born then so couldn’t possibly comment 😉

You only posted this comment to point out that you weren’t as old as me. Admit it! Cow.

Now, would I do a thing like that? Especially so close to your birthday? Shirley Knott! What do you take me for, hmmm?

After all, I can’t help being considerably younger than you, can I?

    😛

    Only 160 days to go.

Shouldn’t you be out playing on your skateboard or something, hmm?
